The initial assessment is a comprehensive evaluation which includes an extensive clinical interview with the patient, and if needed, gathering collateral information and labwork. Dr. Cáceda will then share his assessment impressions and recommend an individualized treatment plan. He will provide education on the diagnosis, treatment plan, medication and psychotherapy management accordingly.

The first appointment is also an opportunity to assess if you and Dr. Cáceda feel like you can work well together. If you are a "good fit", then follow up sessions will be scheduled based on your needs and the recommendations for your care.

If medication is indicated, regular follow-up appointments will be scheduled. Frequency of appointments will be decided together according to your treatment plan.

As necessary, patients will be referred to therapy in combination with medication therapy.
