Alyssa Wolfe, LMSW
Alyssa Wolfe is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with ten years of experience in mental health care. Most recently she has specialized in crisis work with people of all ages and a wide range of diagnoses, and she joins Resilience Psychiatry to provide individual psychotherapy that works in close collaboration with our psychiatric team.
In private practice, Alyssa draws on evidence-based therapeutic modalities, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), to help clients work through depression, anxiety, and major life transitions. She gives clients the space to explore and process their thoughts and emotions at their own pace.
Individual psychotherapy with an adaptable, evidence-based style
What patients tend to appreciate about Alyssa's style is her adaptability. Some clients need a calmer, more reflective presence; others want a warmer conversation that occasionally makes room for humor. She reads the room and meets each person where they are.
Alyssa provides individual psychotherapy for clients age 13 and older through telehealth in New York.
Her work may also be coordinated with psychiatric medication management when indicated.
