A Long Island native, Dr. Spector returned to her local community after completing her psychiatry residency at Stony Brook University Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident. In that role she led resident education and mentored medical students and junior trainees, recognized throughout her training for leadership, professionalism, and dedication to patient care.
